Interactive Google Doodle features Moog Synthesizer.

Today Google celebrates Robert Arthur "Bob" Moog's 78th birthday.
Robert Arthur "Bob" Moog founder of Moog Music, was an American pioneer of electronic music, best known as the inventor of the Moog synthesizer. From Wikipedia
Wikipedia: Robert Moog

Google has created a Moog Synthesizer doodle which is very interactive. It has a large number of controls to modify the sound output in all possible ways. The Synthesizer can be played by using mouse or keyboard. At the right of the instrument is recording device. When you press the record button and play the synthesizer recording will start. You can then stop the recording and listen to the tune you created using the Moog Synthesizer. This recording can be shared on Google+ and via a link given to listen to you recording.
A large number of options are given on the top which spell GOOGLE. These dials are interactive and can be varied to tune your music.
This Google Doodle will be in the list of my favorite Google doodles.

Will Samsung beat Nokia in India

In India back in 2006 when I was purchasing my first phone I asked many people about which phone to purchase and there was only one reply Nokia. I compared many phones of those time and found a Motorola phone that provided much more features than Nokia at the same price but still people didnt bother to explore alternatives to Nokia. Be it a person who wanted to purchase a low budget Nokia s40 device or a fat pocket who wanted to purchase a phone with high end features and a s60 software, everyone wanted Nokia. Nokia had built is reputation in India by providing the best hardware possible for its phones. Nokia phones could bear all possible abuse and still perform for years this made it the first choice back then.

Nokia didn't developed is Software just the hardware, high end camera finished looks that's it. Even at Rs.15000 you could only get a S40 or a S60. Apple when manufactured iPhone that's when the downfall of Nokia had begun. With Apple offering the best experience on  iPhone many smartphone user started to shift to iPhone. Second blow to  Nokia came with Android. Google's Android  went to Motorola Samsung HTC and LG, and suddenly the market was filled with high quality Smartphone that Nokia couldn't think of beating with its Outdated Symbian.

As Samsung came to the top worldwide same trend happened in India. Many people started to buy Samsung Smart phones. Also Nokia's competitors introduced low cost phones. Low cost phones with dual sim, mp3 players and camera had started to take away Nokia's low cost market.

Although Nokia has now partnered with Microsoft , still the competition is tough from Samsung And it may not be long when Samsung will beat Nokia in India too.

How To place a Smaller Time on Nokia X2 Home Screen [ STEP by STEP guide with IMAGES ]

Nokia X2 is a awesome phone, but there are a few quirks in it.

Also the icons are quite big in the homescreen.
I am going to show you how to fix the big time display on the homescreen and replace it with a Nice Small Snappier time on the top right hand corner

There are two methods to fix the intimidating time and date from the display of Nokia X2
1. Remove the time and date completely
2. Make the time small and place it on the right hand corner

1. Removing the time and date completely from the display of Nokia X2
Step 1: Go to Menu > Settings

Step 2: Go to Date and Time

Step 3: Go to Date and Time Format

Step 4: Go to Date

Step 5: Make Clock HIDDEN

Step 6:Similarly do it  for Date

THATS IT,

But one drawback is that you cannot see the time now. This is fixed by a BETTER method 2

2. Make the time on the display of Nokia X2 small and place it on the right hand corner

Step 1.Go to Setting > Display

Step 2.Go to Home Screen
Step 3.Change Home Screen Mode and Set it ON
Step 4.Now Go to Personalize view

Step 5.Personalize it as I have done it
Step 6.Home Screen Key. Set it to Navig. UP and Down
Step 7.Choose Home Scr. Font Col.
Step 8.Go to Settings> MY Shortcut
Step 9.Set Right Selection Key to Names
Step 10.THATS IT

Step 11. Another advantage of this method is that u can set temporary NOTES for yourself that are ALWAYS visible
